If youre looking for your next communications role, we are looking for a communication strategist for our Procurement Team. You will lead Procurement communications for our department including our multi-phased, multi-year, Procurement Transformation, operational changes and other company wide Procurement communications. You will be responsible for developing communications strategies, presentations, talking points, and other materials. Youll work closely with Procurement Leadership as well as our business partners at all levels of the organization to identify communication needs and then bring solutions to life using traditional and emerging media tactics (e.g., written, visual, video, etc.). Were looking for someone who can provide top-notch communication counsel, a seasoned strategic thinker who has supported large-scale change initiatives, loves working collaboratively, and can take complex concepts and processes and make them easy to understand for our key stakeholders.Work with Procurement Leadership Team to identify communication needs and develop strategies, plans and materials to implement effective communication solutions both internally for employees, as well as externally for our suppliers. Serve as the key communication partner to Procurement Leadership Team, providing counsel and ensuring consistency and quality of communications. Support or lead various communications initiatives as needed. Identify and understand the needs of our key Procurement stakeholders (both internal & external) and create targeted, relevant communications that will help them effectively work with Procurement. Contribute to the planning and management of key meetings and special events, including preparation of agendas, talking points and presentations. Effectively collaborate with communication counterparts in Strategic Communications and other areas of the business on integrated communications plans as required. Develop clear, consistent and concise written communications for a variety of internal audiences and platforms, including the company intranet. Drive Procurement editorial meetings and internal communications strategy. Participate in data-driven analysis of communications effectiveness and have the ability to adapt/respond to findings. Participate on cross-business project teams as needed/required. Qualifications Bachelors Degree in communications, journalism or related field At least 5 years communications experience, specific to internal/employee communications. Experience with Procurement communications preferred. Able to work independently, in a leadership position on the Procurement Team. Strong writing, editing and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to write clearly and concisely on a variety of complex business topics. Ability to collaborate and influence across and at all levels of the organization. Demonstrated ability to develop integrated communication plans that take into account the needs of various audiences. Effectively handle priorities from multiple areas/workstreams simultaneously.
